A little bit about myself.

 

I'm a nerd. Yep. No way around it. Grew up loving science fiction, played magic cards, loved math / science, you know the routine.

 

Growing up I also had an insatiable love of animated movies. Yes, I'm the guy walking down the hall humming the Lion King theme. Although for a classic film, you can't go wrong with a little Land Before Time! My love for animation has only grown and I've begun to soak in both eastern and western productions alike.

 

I'm an avid gamer, primarily playing on the PC. Amongst my more well-played games are World of Warcraft, Starcraft2, Team Fortress 2, Counter Strike: Source, Civilization 4, Minecraft and some old classics like Rollercoaster Tycoon, Age of Empires 2 and Warcraft 3.

 

I read. A lot. Science Fiction and Fantasy are what I mostly flock to although general fiction finds its way into my library as well. Aside from the obvious juggernauts of George R. R. Martin and Tolkien, it's always nice to see a new Guy Gavriel Kay or Robert J. Sawyer release (yay Canadian authors!).

 

I grew up in Toronto, Ontario and currently live in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia.
